Who I Am
I live in the Calder Valley in West Yorkshire, in the market town of Sowerby Bridge, where I share my life with my wife Christine. We met in 2009, married in 2013, and continue to build a life together surrounded by the beauty of northern England. I was born in York and spent my early years there before moving to Bradford, where I lived for eight years while pursuing higher education.
Academic and Professional Background
I hold an honours degree in Computing and Information Systems, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Forensic Computing from the University of Bradford. Today, I work in admissions and recruitment at the same university, helping students begin their own academic and professional journeys.
A Lifelong Passion for Technology
Technology has been a defining part of my life from an early age. From experimenting with my first Amstrad PCW in the 1980s to exploring the latest innovations in Apple and Windows systems, I have always been curious about how technology can improve our lives. I enjoy working with computers of all kinds and often help family, friends, and colleagues solve technical issues.
